In other words, changing the intention upon which we wish to enjoy—from self-benefit to benefiting others and nature—is the key to stopping despair. By doing so, we enter into balance with nature and start feeling its flow of eternity, harmony and perfection. Based on a talk with Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman.

Answer: We see in our world that that is impossible. If we want to feel something, then any of our sensations consists of two opposite properties: sensing and what is felt. Therefore, the Creator created us as the opposite of Himself, so that we could feel Him, comprehend, and understand.

Moderator: But when you read what he wrote, what do you feel? M. Laitman: I feel him. For me what he writes and the way he expresses something, it’s all in me, I live in it. Even more so, when I came to him, I practically didn’t know Hebrew, I knew some street Hebrew and with him I started studying it as the language of Kabbalists.

M. Laitman: No, I do not believe in it—I have felt it. There is no faith involved here. Faith is purely a psychological category that does not relate to Kabbalah in any way. The only thing that is taken into account in Kabbalah is what we clearly feel.

This darkness, which is felt in the will to receive, can be turned to light only if we change the modus operandi of the will to receive into “in order to bestow.” In other words, if we use the will to receive in order to give to others, and enjoy the giving, we will become unbounded in our actions because one can give indefinitely.

Kabbalistic knowledge is absolute and objective also because it can be measured. Kabbalah studies only what can be perceived and measured in our new inner property. We do not invent anything because it is impossible. If you have a Kli, then you can feel the Light in it, which you can measure and describe. This is the subject of your science.
