- Yes, Mystic Weapon is very helpful in training the Mysticism skill. Duration: 6 minutes on ranged weapon, 12 minutes on melee weapon. Effectiveness: weapon skill gains Mysticism-10, so initially 80.7. Mysticism also dropped to 80.7, in a manner analogous to the Mage Weapon property on a weapon.

Mysticism is a body of magic first used by the Gargoyle Race. It was added with the Stygian Abyss expansion and may be learned by all races, not just gargoyles. Similar to Spellweaving and Necromancy, Mysticism has its own unique set of magic spells cast from a Spellbook . Battle Focus and Imbuing augment the power of certain Mysticism spells.

you only get skill ups from special attacks (strikes, and for some reason even our spells like icy touch give weapon skill ups), not from autoattacks, when fighting training dummies. Post by 253557 This post was from a user who has deleted their account.

This works equally well with a melee weapon. If you get into a pinch, do not be afraid to use any poisons you might have. You can use one per swing if need be, and this can easily be the deciding factor in the outcome of an otherwise-fatal battle.

But each burst gives Xp only one time I think. So non burst weapon with high rate fire would be ideal. I know for sure in b18 you gained exp for the entire length of the burst. While I never used a minigun I assumed it was reasonable. Honestly though for b19 I can't be ...

While you shouldn't rely on it too much, using your melee weapon can sometimes be the best option for quickly killing a few while making some room to breathe at the same time. When up against enemy survivors , your melee weapon might be the best option to quickly end them.
